The Standard of the West Since 1879: The tale of Justin Boots dates back to 1879, when H.J. Justin made the move to Spanish Fort, Texas to pursue a career in boot repair. Possessing a natural talent and keen eye for craftsmanship, H.J. quickly transitioned into boot making. Establishing his own company, Justin Boots, operating out of his home, catering to cowboys passing through town. Recognizing the potential for growth, H.J. seized the opportunity when a railroad was constructed in Nocona, Texas ten years later. Relocating his family to the burgeoning location to access a larger market.

In 1908, Justin Boots truly became a family affair with H.J.'s sons, Earl and Avis, joining the business. Their collaborative efforts propelled the company forward, leading to a doubling of production within just two years. Justin Boots soon expanded its reach, being distributed across 26 states, as well as Mexico, Canada, and Cuba. Following H.J.'s passing in 1918, his sons relocated the company headquarters to Fort Worth, where it remains based to this day.
