Recognizing the potential for growth, H.J. relocated his family to Nocona, Texas upon the construction of a nearby railroad. Justin Boots officially became a family affair in 1908 when H.J.'s sons, Earl and Avis, joined the business. Together, they expanded production leading to nationwide distribution across 26 states, as well as Mexico, Canada, and Cuba within just a couple of years. Following H.J.'s passing in 1918, his sons relocated the company headquarters to Fort Worth, where it remains to this day.
